I know my blog was in a great turmoil in the past year, and new blogs popped here and there like every single day.
Now it is back! Back for good, with this new domain: TheKais.com.

After two and half days intensive watching campaign, I finally sealed the deal of the Lost season 1. The story was about the survivors of the airplane crash, who struggled to survive in the unknown island, where was full of dangers, and at the same time, waited to be rescued.
TBH, it is not the kind of the tv show I usually would watch, because it is a little bit heavy. And personally I ain’t really into these bloody scenes, pretty much the reason why I never watch the Prison Break! For the purpose of relaxing myself from study and stresses, I’m more prefer those sitcoms, such as Friends, The big bang theory. Or something more about political games, like grifts, tricks, cons, etc., basically, those without physical violences, I particularly could not stand those scenes involving cutting fingers, cutting legs...etc.
Anyway, it was not my intention to post this tonight. What I am going to ramble about is the messages the show delivered. While I was watching the show, I was touched by the determination of these people, who went through one after one warfares and hard times, and could still be that positive about life, even when they came to acknowledge the fact that no one would come to rescue them, they didn’t just give up!
Everyone in the show had secrets, and nearly no one would like to expose themselves to the rests, they lied about lies, which led to a very interesting phenomenal: everyone couldn’t 100% trust others, but they had to cooperate and rely on others. I am wondering what if there was no such a binding objective - to be saved, to bond them together, what would happen?
Admittedly, it is hard to expose your secrets to others, because you never know when they would use it to go against you, but on the other hand, sometimes you need to give out your secrets to sustain intimate friendships, but how do you feel when letting the cats get out of the bag? Do you feel like, maybe, laying down mines for yourself? :P
Today is a lucky day, at least for me! The feedbacks of the two assignments I was worried about the most finally came out, and thanks to our wonderful lecturers: Philipe & Abe, of course, our group members, I got D for our group research paper and D+ for our group presentation!
The unit for these two assignments is Corporate governance, among which I have mixed feelings. I still remember at the beginning of the semester, I was totally freaked out about it, specially at the first class, I failed to grab a thing from there. And I tried to read textbooks, lecture slides, almost everything I had on hand, but...... Then I decided to start from stretch, and I’m glad that I did! What I did was kicking off the subject from the first page of the textbook, instead of following the lecture progress, and since then I feel like I started to understand one thing or two, basically the concept.
Nevertheless, the history repeated tonight while we were going through the case study, certainly I understand the concept behind, but somehow I had hard time to link the corporate governance principles to a practical case! Oh, btw, the way of how the lecturers presented the case study was very distractive, becaus the focus was not always on the case per se, and they leaned to include another practical examples as well. I am not judging it here, but it didn’t really help me in gripping the basic approach to solve case studies.
Now we are approaching the final exams, which is only one week away! I feel like I could smell the intensity. So, I would say it is really not a good timing to start a new blog, simply because I don’t have the time to update here or whatsoever! As the result, I’ll have to stop it here. But I’ll keep here up to date as possible as I can. xD
